The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection online examination (Preliminary and Main) for the next Common Recruitment Process for selection of personnel for Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee posts in the Participating Organisations is tentatively scheduled in October / November 2018.

Any eligible candidate, who aspires to join any of the Participating Organisations listed at (A) as a Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee or in a similar post in that cadre, is required to register for the Common Recruitment Process (CRPPO/MT-VIII).

The examination will be two tier i.e. the online examination will be held in two phases, Online Preliminary and Online Main. Candidates who will qualify in Online Preliminary examination and shortlisted will have to appear for Online Main examination and shortlisted candidates in the Online Main examination will subsequently be called for a Common Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organisations and co-ordinated by the nodal bank.

Candidates who are interested in participating in the exam need to be above 20 years old and below 30 years. There is relaxation in the maximum age for candidates from reserved categories, 5 years for SC/ST, ex-servicemen, JK domiciled person, and person affected in 1984 riots; 3 years for OBCs; and 10 years for differently-abled person. The candidates must have a graduate degree from any stream.
The Preliminary exam can be taken in either English or Hindi language (except for the English test which will be in English).
The Main exam will consist of 155 objective-type questions for 200 marks and candidates will get 3 hours. Candidates will also have to write an essay and a letter in English in 30 minutes which will be of 25 marks. Negative marking is a part of the test with a penalty of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer with no penalty if no answer is attempted.

After filling in the basic details, candidates would need to upload scanned copies of their photograph, signature, and left thumb impression.
Pay the requisite registration fee (Rs. 600 for general candidates and Rs. 100 for candidates from reserved categories).
Click on final submit button.
